FUE Hair Transplant & Restoration in Dubai & UAE ?
YES. FUT can be used first to maximize the effectiveness of the initial procedures, but in subsequent sessions the scalp may become too tight for further FUT/Strap procedures or the donor scar may become wider than intended. In the first case, the doctor can switch to FUE for subsequent sessions. In the latter case, the surgeon can extract the follicular units using FUE and then implant them into the enlarged scar to mask them.
If FUE is performed first and performance is not what the doctor finds acceptable, the patient may switch to FUT for the remainder of this procedure or subsequent surgeries.
Do I need to see a FUT or FUE specialist?
FUT and FUE are excellent techniques but have different clinical indications. In order to offer patients the best possible care, hair restorers must master both methods and offer both methods in their practice. For a detailed explanation,

Graft Quality: FUT vs.FUE
In both procedures, high quality follicular unit grafts are important to get the maximum aesthetic benefit from hair restoration. High quality grafts are those obtained from the longest lasting part of the donor area that are undamaged and contain a protective layer of tissue around the hair follicles. The protective dermis reduces mechanical trauma during placement and drying when the grafts are outside the body.
Hand graft quality FUE versus FUT
LEFT: 3 follicular units obtained by FUT and stereoscopic dissection. Note that the hair follicles and protective connective tissue are intact.RIGHT: A set of 3 hair follicles obtained by manual FUE. Note the severed hair follicles and bulbs without protective connective tissue.
In FUT, the donor strip is first removed from the scalp & FUE Hair Transplant in Dubai and then, using stereomicroscopes, hair follicular units with protective tissue intact are carefully isolated. This procedure generally produces high quality grafts, especially when clinicians are extensively trained in stereoscopic dissection.
In FUE, the surgeon removes the follicular units one at a time from the donor area. There is a risk of the follicular units being sheared (cut through) during collection, as only the top of the follicle can be viewed directly. The direction of the hair follicles beneath the skin's surface can only be guessed at. As a result, bellows are more likely to be damaged or lose their protective coating in FUE than in FUT. For a more detailed discussion of this issue, see Graft Quality: The FUE Challenge.
If the surgeon does not cut the skin deep enough, the follicular unit can be removed without the all-important underside of the hair follicles and the transplant may not survive. These factors can result in poor quality or damaged grafts, making them more brittle and more prone to poor growth.
